What is a magic URL and how can I use it?

You can find your "magic URLs" in your "Settings" under "Sharing". You can also see the same type of link in the "Share This" box under the SideBar if you have that feature enabled.

Share these 'magic' URLs with your friends and colleagues - clicking on these links authorizes the browser at the specified permission level. They're valid until you disable or change the relevant password. Always use discretion when sharing the Administrator password. Administrator's have FULL ACCESS to that wiki.

One side effect of magic URLs that you may not appreciate, is that anyone using one of these URLs is effectively anonymous when logged in. Since they didn't have to supply a name and email address, none will show on the page history when they make changes.

To get Access Controls, upgrade your wiki to premium for Administrator, Moderator, Contributor and Reader access levels. To find out all about the great selection of premium features, go to the bottom right corner of your wiki and click on the upgrade link.
